Klis Fortress also became well known among fans of the Game of Thrones series, where it represented the city of Meereen. Many visitors come because of the series and leave impressed by its real history.
Ticket Prices
In cooperation with the Municipality of Klis, we offer a combined ticket that allows you to visit two attractions – Klis Fortress and Stella Croatica – for a single price. This blend of culture and gastronomy is an ideal excursion for both groups and individual guests.
- Adults: €12
- Children up to 15 years: €4
- Organized groups and agency guests: €8
Tickets can be purchased at either location and are valid from April 1 to October 31, with the option to visit on separate days.
Experience the Olive Museum and Stella Croatica
Visit the botanical garden, the award-winning European museum, the traditional food restaurant and oil tasting workshops. Your ticket for Klis Fortress must first be collected at the Stella Croatica location in Klis. Stella Croatica is less than two minutes from Klis Fortress.
Combined ticket: Klis Fortress and Olive Museum
Klis Fortress is located on a hill above the village of Klis, about a 20-minute drive from Split, reachable by car, local bus or bicycle for those with an adventurous spirit.
It is 2.5 km from Stella Croatica, also known as the Olive Museum. The purchase of a ticket for Klis Fortress also includes a visit to Stella Croatica.
